🏃‍♂️ Running with Family for dementia in honour of my Grandma🏃‍♀️

On May 5th, I will be participating in the Melbourne Memory Walk & Jog. My family and I will be doing so in honor of our grandma, who is a survivor of the Khmer Rouge and a Cambodian refugee. She was a strong single mother and filled our lives with love as a grandma to me and my siblings, even as she battled dementia.

This cause holds immense significance for me, and your support would mean a great deal.

Dementia is now the second leading cause of death in Australia, and with our aging population, the numbers are only expected to rise. By 2058, over 800,000 Australians could be affected. We urgently need more research and support to tackle this growing crisis.
