Help me raise money in honour of my Grandma 阿婆 and the 400,000 Australian’s living with dementia.
On Sunday, 5 May, my family will be joining the Melbourne Memory Walk & Jog in honour of our beloved grandma 阿婆 who battled with dementia. She was a survivor of the Khmer Rouge, a Cambodian refugee, a strong single mum who raised our dad and filled our lives with love, even as she battled dementia.
Dementia is now the second leading cause of death in Australia, and with our aging population, the numbers are only expected to rise. By 2058, over 800,000 Australians could be affected. We urgently need more research and support to tackle this growing crisis.
This is a cause that is very close to my heart and I would appreciate your support. Every step counts, every dollar makes a difference. Your donation would mean the world to me.
